The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Felsenthal lock and dam, Arkansas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:30 am Tuesday the pool stage was 77.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood pool stage is 70 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 77.7 feet
by Wednesday morning.

... Flood Warning extended until further notice... the Flood Warning
continues for
the Ouachita River at Thatcher l&d.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:30 am Tuesday the stage was 81.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 79.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 81.2 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impacts at 80.0 feet... minor flooding occurs at this level. Levee
gates should be closed to prevent the river from backing into
Calion Lake. Access to oil and gas rigs and to Timber is flooded.
There is wide coverage of flooding in the river bottoms.

... Straight-line wind damage confirmed in Upshur County, TX...

A damage survey was conducted today in Upshur County, TX for
storms that moved through during the early morning hours of
Monday, March 25th. Between approximately 1:43 a.M. And 1:56 a.M.
Straight-line wind damage with winds determined to be up to 100
mph extended from the Gilmer community to approximately 8 miles
southeast of Gilmer. This damage occurred along and to the south
of the apex of a Bow echo which is a feature identified via
Doppler radar reflectivity. This damage was determined to be
straight-line based off wind Downing trees in a similar direction
throughout the damage swath. The most widespread damage was
observed with several Pine trees snapped on Finch Road
approximately 7 miles southeast of Gilmer.

A special thanks GOES out to emergency management for the city of
Gilmer and Upshur County for their assistance during the survey.
