... The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northwestern Columbia...
northern Suwannee and Hamilton counties is cancelled...

the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However small hail, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
northern Florida.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Jacksonville.

Flood Warning

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville FL has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Santa Fe River near O'Leno State Park.
* From Monday morning until further notice... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 5:15 PM Sunday the stage was 41.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and
continue to rise to near 44.3 feet by early Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 43.0 feet... access to river gage becomes limited as the
bible Camp Road boat ramp becomes flooded and the last half mile of
bible Camp Road begins to flood in Columbia County. Overland
flooding begins past the Santa Fe River sink in the park and will
cut-off access Road to south end of the park.
* Impact... at 42.0 feet... boat ramp at the end of bible Camp Road
begins to flood.

Areal Flood Advisory

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* small stream flood advisory for poor drainage areas for...
northern Gilchrist County in northern Florida...
Columbia County in northern Florida...
Suwannee County in northern Florida...
Hamilton County in northern Florida...

* until 915 PM EDT.

* At 720 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Overflowing
poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory
area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lake City, Live Oak, Jasper, Jennings, White Springs, ichetucknee
Spring, Suwannee River State Park, Suwannee Springs, Columbia and
Fort White.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

At 736 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jasper to Live Oak. Movement was east at
20 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph can be expected along
with possible minor damage.

Locations impacted include...
Lake City, Live Oak, Jasper, Jennings, White Springs, Suwannee
Springs, Winfield, Suwannee Valley, Belmont and Crossroads.
