... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM MST /1 PM
PST/ this afternoon...

* what... snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery Road
conditions and areas of poor visibility. Total snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches in the west central mountains
below 6000 feet, with 6 to 12 inches above 6000 feet; 2 to 4
inches in the upper Weiser river basin; 1 to 3 inches in
Harney County, with 6 to 10 inches on Steens mountain; 1 to 3
inches in the Baker County valleys, with 5 to 10 inches in the
mountains; 1 to 3 inches in the lower Treasure valley; 1 to 3
inches in the southern portion of the upper Treasure valley
(south of I-84), with 2 to 5 inches along and north of I-84 in
the upper Treasure valley.

* Where... portions of northeast and southeast Oregon and
southwest and west central Idaho.

* When... until 2 PM MST /1 PM PST/ this afternoon.

* Additional details... winds gusting 20 to 40 mph will cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow, mainly in higher terrain
and on south and west-facing slopes.

of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest Road
