The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Paducah
* until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 50.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 39.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 51.5 feet by
Sunday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 52.0 feet... major flooding occurs and is widespread on
both sides of the river.

... Patchy dense fog possible...
At midnight, patchy dense fog was developing around the Airport and
suburbs near the High School in western McCracken County,
Kentucky. Nearby, similar patches of dense fog were restricting
visibilities in Metropolis and Harrisburg, Illinois. It is
possible that other locations will see dense fog that will occur
in patches and reduce driving visibility. If you are traveling
during these pre dawn hours, be aware you may encounter locally
dense fog. Allow yourself plenty of time to reach your
destination, and use your low beam headlights for best visibility
for both you and other drivers.
