The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a high rip
current risk, which is in effect through Monday evening.

* Locations... .beaches along the Atlantic coast of New Jersey and
Delaware

* timing... through Monday evening.

* Rip current risk... high.

* Waves... 5 to 8 feet.

* Surf zone impacts... very strong rip currents will be life
threatening to anyone who enters the surf.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
