... Freeze warning remains in effect from 11 PM this evening to
9 am EDT Monday...

* temperatures... as low as 29.

* Timing... very late tonight through 9 am Monday morning.

* Impacts... freezing temperatures could kill sensitive
vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

* Location... coastal Essex County, southern Plymouth County in
Massachusetts. Newport and Bristol counties in Rhode Island.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

... Wind gusts up to 45 mph possible through this afternoon...

Northwest winds will become blustery this morning and continue
through afternoon. Along south and southeast coastal New England
there is the threat that northwest wind gusts will get as high as
45 mph. Given fully leafed trees there is the impact of downed
trees or tree limbs potentially resulting in power outages as a
result of the wind threat.
