The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and West
Virginia, including the following areas, in northeast
Kentucky, Boyd, Carter, Greenup, and Lawrence KY. In southeast
Ohio, Gallia and Lawrence OH. In West Virginia, Barbour,
Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Gilmer,
Harrison, Jackson WV, Kanawha, Lewis, Lincoln, Logan, Mason,
Mingo, northwest Nicholas, northwest Webster, Putnam, Ritchie,
Roane, southeast Nicholas, southeast Webster, Taylor, Upshur,
Wayne, and Wirt.

* Through late tonight

* soils across the area are nearly saturated due to previous
rainfall. Additional showers and thunderstorms, some with
heavy rain, are expected to affect the area tonight through
Sunday night.

* Flash flooding of creeks, streams and low lying areas will be
possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
