... High wind watch in effect from early Thursday morning through
early Saturday morning...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a high wind
watch, which is in effect from early Thursday morning through
early Saturday morning.

* Timing... 5 am Thursday morning through 5 am Saturday morning.

* Winds... sustained winds west at 45 to 55 mph with gusts to 65
mph. Winds will increase Friday morning with sustained winds 55
to 65 mph and gusts 75 to 85 mph possible.

* Impacts... strong Crosswinds will create extremely dangerous
travel for light weight and high profile vehicles, including
camping and travel trailers. This watch includes Bordeaux along
Interstate 25 between Chugwater and Wheatland and Arlington and
Elk Mountain along Interstate 80. Use extreme caution when
traveling during periods of high winds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph... or gusts of
