* what... moderate snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6
to 10 inches. Localized totals may reach up to 12 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 45 mph with areas of blowing snow.

* Where... Sierra Madre and Snowy Range mountains.

* When... now to 11 am MST Thursday.

* Additional details... travel could be difficult. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind
chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Outdoor recreational
activities may be dangerous. Any hikers or snowmobilers out in
the area may easily become disorientated and lost when
traveling through areas of heavy snowfall and low visibility.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
