* until 1115 PM EDT

* at 819 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Greensboro, High Point, Burlington, Graham, Siler City,
McLeansville, Elon College, Gibsonville, Pleasant Garden and
Jamestown.

Additional rainfall of one to two inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will cause minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
